Our Events

Attention all Green Girls

Would you like to take part in a short course looking at 'Challenges and Choices:

A Women's Guide to the 21^st Century'?

We have a unique opportunity to offer this FREE course to female Green Party members.
It is being rolled out across NI in various Women's centres and I have been able to organise running it at the Bangor office at a time that best suits us.

It is a 6 week programme consisting of 3 hours sessions dealing with a different topic each week.

The sessions will be delivered by Eileen Fegan and is funded by the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust.

For anyone who has met Eileen you can imagine that this will be a fun filled short course.

As yet the Green Party has no specific policy on women and I see this as a perfect opportunity to get together, get to know each other and shape a future policy framework.

This is a petition for No drilling for oil in Northern Ireland!

The Department for Trade and Enterprise has recently granted two companies licences to run feasibility studies for drilling for oil here in Northern Ireland ! Permission has been granted to drill test wells. Several sites have been chosen already these include Rathlin Island and Cairncastle, outside Larne. If like me you are appalled by this development please sign our petition at:
