I am interested in putting something back into the community. Issues of the land and sea, are vital to me. I also am interested in animal welfare and the care of the elderly.I m not sure if I can be of any help but there would also be a friend of mine who would be interested in joining also. We are both very lively and interesting women who went to Methodist College and are recently rather disillusioned with life . we want to make a difference. Just yesterday I heard that so much money had been spent on the Jubilee, THAT 1000 OAPS, are missing out on their Christmas Lunch and party , which they look forward to every year. this was my Trigger. As I am unable to work at the minute I could possibly be of some use.

The EU require a Diesel emissions test to be carried out as part of the MOT on all cars. DVA do not carry out a compliant test despite the fact that they have PFI contract to do it. Why are you not pressing for the emissions test to be carried out as required?

Hello Mandy - thanks for getting in touch!
The Green Party is a party based on universal human rights and we have been appalled by the comments made in relation to this matter and have publicly said so.
We have an active LGBT policy group and are lobbying to have the ban on blood donation by gay men reversed in NI and have also tabled a motion on the right for gay couples to be afforded the same rights when it come to the legal status of marriage. Both these issues we will be pursuing with vigour until the laws are changed. If you would like to email me directly at joanna.braniff@party.niassembly.gov.uk I will forward you the statements we have made in relation to these matters and our policy documents on LGBT human rights issues - thanks

what is the Green party saying about the derogatory comments made by Lord Maginnis about gay people? ill the Green party stand up for LGB&T people against such blatant homophobic bullying?
